NEW YORK (AP) — A shocking stabbing incident at New York's Grand Central Station left three individuals injured early Saturday morning. According to the New York Police Department, officers responded to a 9:40 a.m. emergency call regarding an assault in the bustling transit hub. Upon arrival, they confronted a man armed with a knife; he was subsequently shot by the officers. The exact number of shots fired during the confrontation has not been disclosed, but the man is reported to be in critical condition at a nearby hospital.
The victims of the stabbing include an 84-year-old man, a 65-year-old man, and a 70-year-old woman. Thankfully, all three are currently in stable condition, receiving treatment in the hospital. Additionally, two police officers are undergoing evaluation for their involvement in the incident.
