The Duchess of Sussex offers a tantalizing array of personal style selections through a new online store.
The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, has unveiled her latest digital platform, allowing her fans to shop a selection of her favorite clothing, accessories, and jewelry. Announcing her online store on Instagram to her 2.6 million followers, Meghan emphasized her "high-low" fashion approach that merges designer items with accessible styles. Along with the introduction of the ShopMy link, she disclosed that she would earn commission on select sales from the affiliate links shared.
The ShopMy platform caters to "elite creators," enabling them to earn commissions ranging from 10% to 30% depending on the retailer. Meghan mentioned that the pieces available in her online shop represent "a handpicked and curated collection of the things I love," responding to numerous requests from fans eager for wardrobe inspiration.
Items previously worn by the Duchess are well-known for selling out swiftly; for instance, a white coat from the Canadian label Line the Label, which she wore during her engagement announcement in November 2017, famously crashed the brand’s website due to high demand. Similarly, a £500 ($675) tote bag from Strathberry sold out in just 11 minutes after Meghan was spotted carrying it.
This week, Meghan's new online shop launched with a collection of 32 essential pieces encapsulating a minimalist wardrobe in neutral tones such as white, beige, light blue, and black, crafted from natural materials like linen and cashmere. Featured items include a classic white cotton t-shirt, a striped blue "boyfriend" shirt, white linen trousers, and more formal options like a black wool blazer and a stunning ivory evening dress.
Most items come from upscale high-street brands such as Theory, Reformation, and J Crew, yet the collection also comprises luxury and budget-friendly alternatives. For instance, a Uniqlo trench coat is priced at £99, while a pair of luxurious Saint Laurent sandals retails for £595.
Beyond this venture, Meghan’s recent life updates include a new Netflix series that showcases her domestic life, social interactions, and her passion for gardening and cooking, following the success of her lifestyle brand previously known as American Riviera Orchard—now rebranded as As Ever. The Duchess also managed her lifestyle blog, The Tig, for nearly three years prior to her engagement, where she shared diverse recommendations on beauty, travel, and self-care.
