Meghan Unveils Exclusive Online Fashion Boutique for Fans
The Duchess of Sussex launches a curated shop featuring her fashion favorites.
The Duchess of Sussex has officially launched her own digital storefront, giving fans a unique opportunity to purchase a selection of her favorite apparel, accessories, and jewelry. Declaring her signature 'high-low' style—which combines luxurious designer pieces with more accessible fashion—Meghan shared the link to her online shop with her 2.6 million Instagram followers this week.
In her announcement, she noted that she would receive a commission for some sales made through the affiliate links. The ShopMy platform, designed for "elite creators," enables users to earn commissions that can reach as high as 30% for items sold through shared links. Meghan emphasized that the shop features a "handpicked and curated collection" that reflects her personal style, responding to many requests from followers for her wardrobe recommendations.
Previously worn items by the Duchess have frequently sold out almost immediately—her white coat from Line the Label, worn during her engagement announcement in November 2017, famously crashed the brand's website due to high demand. Another example includes a £500 Strathberry tote that sold out within an astonishing 11 minutes of her being photographed with it.
Her initial collection includes 32 versatile pieces in neutral tones, featuring elements like a classic white cotton t-shirt, a relaxed striped "boyfriend" shirt, and tailored white linen trousers. More formal offerings like a sophisticated black blazer and a stunning ivory evening gown also grace the lineup. The showcased items come from a mix of high-street brands such as Theory, Madewell, and J Crew, offering a range of prices that include both luxury and more budget-friendly options—like a £99 trench coat from Uniqlo and a £595 pair of leather Saint Laurent sandals.
ShopMy notes that commission rates generally range from 10% to 30%, depending on the brand. The platform also allows creators to connect with over 47,000 brands for potential collaborations. This latest endeavor from Meghan comes shortly after her Netflix lifestyle show premiered, offering a glimpse into her life filled with gardening, cooking, and social gatherings.
Earlier initiatives have included a lifestyle brand previously named American Riviera Orchard but now recognized as As Ever, focusing on artisanal goods. Meghan notably ran her own lifestyle blog, The Tig, for nearly three years before closing it in 2017, where she shared insights on beauty, food, fashion, and love.
