An executive order now requires federal departments to replace the term “artificial intelligence” with “super intelligence” in official documents, signalling a new era for the technology.
While lawmakers and some industry veterans welcomed the oath of self‑regulation, academics and ethicists argue the pact is too vague, offers no real enforcement and may actually hinder stronger oversight.
