The 1975 frontman Matty Healy and model Gabbriette Bechtel have tied the knot in Los Angeles after a nine‑month courtship that began following Healy’s split from Taylor Swift in 2023.
The couple announced their engagement in 2024 and celebrated their wedding on Saturday in a private ceremony at the former Hollywood Hills estate of pop icon Madonna. According to a statement from their representatives, the ceremony was intimate, attended by close friends and several celebrities, including Charli XCX.
Media outlets described the event as “glamorous” and noted that the venue’s famous Los Angeles location brought an extra layer of star‑style allure. Bechtel, 28, is also the lead vocalist of the punk‑rock band Nasty Cherry, founded by Charli XCX, and she shared wedding photos on Instagram with a playful caption stating she was a “brat.”
The union comes after Healy’s breakout with The 1975, a band that has earned multiple UK number‑one albums and headline gigs, such as last year’s Glastonbury. Despite an “indefinite hiatus” from live shows, the band’s influence continues to be felt across pop and alternative music circles.
