Roblox is the most popular gaming platform for children aged eight to 12 in the UK

An independent developer for Roblox believes the platform's child safety measures, which include age verification checks, are inadequate. In an exclusive interview, they stated that parents need to monitor their children on Roblox 24/7, and if that's not possible then they shouldn't be playing Roblox.

Roblox has a user base averaging over 80 million players per day, with about 40% under the age of 13. Despite measures like mandatory age verification, the developer expressed concerns about children being exposed to harmful content and interactions with strangers.

Sam, the developer, claims that some individuals engage in risky behavior facilitated by the platform, and highlighted troubling games that simulate violent scenarios. He urges parents to be proactive in ensuring their child's safety online.
