This significant operational change reflects the federal agency's commitment to maintaining flight safety and ensuring efficiency during a period of constrained resources.
The flight cuts will commence on Friday, and travelers are urged to verify their flight statuses with respective airlines to ascertain potential cancellations. The list of impacted airports includes major travel hubs such as Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International in Georgia, Los Angeles International in California, and O'Hare International in Illinois, amongst others.
