Eyewitness accounts indicate that the man, believed to be in his sixties, used a pesticide sprayer filled with a highly flammable substance to start the blaze. The fire, which filled the fourth floor with dense smoke, led to a chaotic scene as firefighters worked to contain it.
Tragically, one male resident was discovered deceased within the apartment, suffering from severe burns. Two other residents, elderly women aged 70 and 80, sustained critical injuries after falling from the fourth floor in an attempt to escape the flames. A total of eleven individuals were treated for various injuries, primarily smoke inhalation.
