Emergency responders have conducted approximately 30 rescues within the past 24 hours, helping those trapped in vehicles amidst the rapidly rising waters. Multiple towns in regions affected by the storm are under evacuation orders, especially the Northern Rivers area, known for its vulnerability to flooding.
