Yung Filly Faces Reckless Driving Charges Amid Serious Allegations
The YouTube star Yung Filly is in hot water again, with new reckless driving charges surfacing while he remains on bail for serious rape allegations.
YouTube star Yung Filly, whose real name is Andrés Felipe Valencia Barrientos, finds himself facing a fresh slate of legal troubles as he is charged with reckless driving in Australia. The 29-year-old entertainer, already on bail for alleged rape, reportedly drove at 158km/h (98mph) on a Perth highway, well above the legal speed limit of 100km/h.
The police have confirmed that the incident took place on November 17 in the High Wycombe area, leading to the impoundment of Barrientos's vehicle. Scheduled to appear in court on November 19, he will address both this reckless driving charge and multiple allegations concerning sexual offenses, which include four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, and one count of applying pressure to impede normal breathing or circulation.
These serious allegations stem from an event in September, during which Barrientos is accused of bringing a woman in her 20s to his hotel room following a performance at nightclub Bar1 in Perth. Known for his association with the YouTube collective Beta Squad and various shows on BBC Three, Barrientos has also appeared on the UK television programs ITV's Soccer Aid and Channel 4's Great Celebrity Bake Off for Stand Up To Cancer. He was recognized with a Mobo Award for best media personality in 2021, yet his recent string of accusations could severely tarnish his public image.
