Good Good Apologises for Golf Ad Showing Violence Against Women

Good Good, the American YouTube content‑creator and golf brand, has pulled a Callaway advert that depicted a woman being shoved to the ground in a bid to protect a new driver.

The clip, which shows co‑founder Garrett Clark rushing to Alexis Miestowski and berating her, prompted rapid backlash over its perceived trivialisation of violence.

In a statement revealed on X, Good Good said, "We posted a video that was not aligned with our values" and "We have since taken that content down, and sincerely apologise."

Callaway, a partner since 2023, said it was "disappointed" but appreciated Good Good’s swift action and pledged a renewed focus on inclusivity.

Good Good, which began in 2020 and now boasts 2.13 million YouTube subscribers, also sponsors a PGA Tour event and aims to bring diversity to the sport.

The PGA Tour echoed that it "does not condone violence" and highlighted its commitment to a welcoming environment for all golfers.
