A small plane, which took off from Iowa and was en route to Minnesota, tragically crashed into a residential home in Brooklyn Park on Saturday, igniting a fire that engulfed the structure. The aircraft took flight around 12:20 PM local time, but details regarding the number of individuals onboard remain unclear. Brooklyn Park Fire Chief Shawn Conway stated there were no survivors among the passengers, although none inside the house were reported harmed.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) announced that the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) would investigate the cause of the incident, which is still undetermined. Investigators are expected to arrive on the scene by Sunday to document the situation and assess the aircraft, which will then be moved to a secure location for a more thorough examination.

Social media footage depicted the home being consumed by flames as local fire crews made efforts to contain the blaze. Chief Conway noted that by the time firefighters arrived, it had already developed into a "fully involved structure fire." Brooklyn Park is located just north of Minneapolis, with a population of around 82,000 residents. Minnesota Governor Tim Waltz expressed his concern, stating that his team was in contact with local officials and that they are closely monitoring the situation. He also expressed gratitude toward first responders on the scene.
