In a humble moment backstage at Hammersmith Apollo, the 24-year-old Californian exudes a sense of disbelief. "Everything is happening very quickly," he shares. "I wrote 'Ordinary' only three months ago. I’m honestly overwhelmed."

Warren's success, however, wasn’t spontaneous. He co-founded the Hype House, a collaborative TikTok space in Los Angeles that guided millions through the pandemic. Although some might dismiss him as yet another influencer trying to break into music, Warren is ready to prove that his path is different.

"I watched many TikTok figures create music lacking substance. They didn’t infuse any meaning behind their work," he reflects. "But I prefer to write about real-life experiences. Nobody else can sing my songs because they are genuinely personal."

Warren’s discography is a testament to that authenticity. His pop anthems delve deep into his troubled childhood and his enchanting relationship with Kouvr. A pivotal moment came when he lost his father to kidney cancer at just nine years old, a tragedy that plunged his mother into alcoholism. At 18, he faced homelessness after being kicked out by his mother. Friends allowed him to sleep in their cars, an experience that propelled his journey into the public eye when he met Kouvr, an Instagram model. Their immediate connection saw Kouvr relocate from Hawaii to live in a car with Warren.

Shortly after, they paraded their love on social media, leading Warren to amass over a million YouTube followers in just six months. His early success, which began with a $2,000 paycheck, laid the groundwork for the inception of Hype House, a project he helped name and which became a launchpad for various influencers and viral content.

The collective enjoyed the limelight, but as aspirations shifted during the pandemic, Warren and Kouvr departed from Hype House in 2022, aiming for a new chapter. "I could have chosen a darker path, but I opted for this,” he smiles, “and it truly is the craziest thing."
