Wisconsin Teen Charged with Parents' Murder in Alleged Trump Assassination Conspiracy
FBI reveals shocking details as a 17-year-old's plot to kill Donald Trump surfaces, linked to the murder of his parents.
A 17-year-old from Wisconsin, Nikita Casap, has been charged with murdering his parents as part of an alleged plot to assassinate former President Donald Trump, according to the FBI. Tatiana Casap, aged 35, and Donald Mayer, 51, were found dead in their Waukesha home on February 28, after the teenager had not shown up for school for two weeks. A search warrant recently unsealed revealed that Casap possessed materials linked to a neo-Nazi organization known as the Order of Nine Angles and expressed admiration for Adolf Hitler.
Criminal complaints indicate that Mr. Mayer died from a gunshot wound to the head, while multiple gunshot wounds were inflicted on Ms. Casap around February 11. Their bodies were discovered by local authorities who were conducting a welfare check. On the day of the discovery, Casap was apprehended by police in Kansas while driving a vehicle registered to his stepfather. Inside, authorities found firearms, credit cards belonging to his parents, valuable jewelry, a pried-open safe, and a significant amount of cash stashed within a Bible.
Court filings allege that Casap's writings espoused white supremacist views and detailed intentions to assassinate Trump as a means to incite a political uprising. Investigators asserted that the double homicide was potentially an attempt to acquire financial resources and independence to execute his plan. Further inquiries revealed that Casap reportedly communicated with individuals in Russia regarding his assassination intentions and had taken steps to obtain drones and explosives for an attack. Plans to escape to Ukraine were also discovered.
Casap had a preliminary court hearing on April 9 but has yet to enter a plea. His next court appearance is scheduled for May 7, where he will formally face the charges. Currently, he is being held with a bond set at $1 million.
