Liebich, formerly known as Sven Liebich, received her sentence in July 2023 from the Halle District Court, which upheld charges of extreme right incitement. Following the implementation of Germany's Self-Determination Act, which allows individuals to alter their gender identification and name with a simple declaration, Liebich changed her gender and name in late 2024.
