Unusual drone activity reported near key US military installations has sparked heightened intrigue and calls for transparency.

A series of unidentified drone sightings have recently been confirmed by the United States Air Force (USAF) over three critical military airbases across the UK. The incidents, occurring from Wednesday to Friday, involved "small unmanned aerial systems" observed at RAF Lakenheath, RAF Mildenhall in Suffolk, and RAF Feltwell in Norfolk.

USAF officials stated that it remains unclear whether the drones represented a threat, declining to provide details on the defensive protocols employed during the sightings. “We retain the right to protect our installations,” a spokesperson emphasized, indicating ongoing vigilance over the airspaces monitored by their forces.
