Thieves Target Brad Pitt's LA Home in Late-Night Burglary

Brad Pitt's Los Angeles home has reportedly been burglarized by three suspects, while the actor was away for a film premiere in the UK.

 

In a distressing incident, Los Angeles Police confirmed that a trio of thieves broke into actor Brad Pitt's residence in Los Feliz late Wednesday evening, accessing the property through a front window. Although no official statement identifies the home specifically as belonging to the Oscar-winning star, the address aligns with a property Pitt purchased earlier this year.

The authorities reported that the thieves managed to escape with several stolen items, but the exact nature and value of what was taken remain unclear. Reports indicate that Pitt was not present during the incident, as he was attending the London premiere of his upcoming movie "F1," set for release this Friday, alongside fellow celebrities Tom Cruise and Formula One champion Lewis Hamilton.

The break-in occurred around 10:30 PM local time, and detailed information about the stolen items has not been disclosed by police. Pitt's residence, a spacious three-bedroom home, is situated near Griffith Park, which is famous for its Hollywood Sign and is predominantly shielded from public view by a tall fence and lush greenery.

This burglary is part of a troubling trend in the city, with other celebrity homes, including those of Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, having been targeted recently. Additionally, a separate incident last month involved a man apprehended for stalking and vandalism after crashing his vehicle into the gate of Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston's home.
