Unreleased Beyoncé Tracks and More Stolen Ahead of Atlanta Tour Stop
In a troublesome incident just days before her highly anticipated Cowboy Carter tour, Beyoncé's unreleased music was stolen from a vehicle in Atlanta.
On July 8, just two days ahead of her Cowboy Carter tour stop in Atlanta, multiple items, including unreleased music by Beyoncé, were stolen from a rental vehicle. The items belonged to her choreographer, Christopher Grant, and dancer, Diandre Blue, who reported the theft to local authorities. According to a police report, the pair had parked their Black Jeep Wagoneer outside a food hall when they returned to find the rear window smashed and two suitcases gone.
The stolen property included critical materials for the tour: five jump drives containing watermarked unreleased music, show plans, and set lists. In addition, the thieves made off with a laptop, designer clothing, and Apple AirPods. Investigating officers used tracking information from the laptop and headphones in hopes of locating the missing items. They also found two faint fingerprints on the vehicle but have not confirmed whether the stolen materials have been recovered.
As the police search for the suspect, whose identity remains undisclosed, Beyoncé is currently performing in the city as part of her eagerly awaited tour, which commenced on July 10. Notably, her husband Jay-Z surprised audiences with an appearance during the third night of her performances. Choreographer Christopher Grant has collaborated with several prominent artists, including Shakira, while dancer Diandre Blue featured alongside Beyoncé in a Super Bowl commercial in 2024, which also showcased music from her latest album.
