HANALEI, Hawaii (AP) — A tragic helicopter accident occurred on the secluded Kalalau Beach on Kauai Island, resulting in the deaths of three individuals and injuries to two others. The incident took place on a Thursday afternoon, as the helicopter, operated by Airborne Aviation, was carrying one pilot along with four passengers. According to the Kauai Fire Department, the casualties were pronounced soon after the crash, while two survivors were promptly airlifted to Wilcox Medical Center for medical attention.
