On Saturday, unidentified drones were sighted above Danish military installations, prompting defence ministers from ten EU countries to devise a collaborative strategy dubbed a drone wall to enhance surveillance.

The prohibition will extend until October 3, 2025, with strict penalties for violators, which may include fines and imprisonment for up to two years. Authorities are currently on heightened alert to protect both Danish citizens and international guests attending the summit.

International support has been forthcoming, with Sweden pledging military anti-drone assistance and France sending specialized teams and equipment to aid in securing airspace. This response highlights the growing concern over drone operations that could potentially undermine security.
