BOSTON (AP) — An explosion occurred early Saturday morning at Harvard Medical School, which authorities have determined to be intentional. Fortunately, no injuries were reported as a result of the incident.

A responding university police officer attempted to apprehend two unidentified individuals seen fleeing from the Goldenson Building, where the fire alarm was triggered. University police confirmed these details in a statement following the chaotic event.

The Boston Fire Department conducted an investigation and concluded that the explosion was intentionally set. Following a thorough sweep of the building, officials did not discover any additional devices, which alleviated fears of further danger.

In their effort to identify the suspects, police have released grainy photographs showing two individuals wearing face coverings, appearing in sweatshirts. The investigation continues as police seek any additional information related to the incident.}
