Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has stated he is in excellent physical condition following the publication of his annual medical report, which revealed that he had a malignant tumor removed.
In a post on X, Netanyahu reported that during routine monitoring after successful surgery for an enlarged benign prostate, doctors found an early-stage tumor. He confirmed that treatment had removed the problem and left no trace of it.
Netanyahu chose to delay the release of his health record to prevent potential propaganda from Tehran amid ongoing military tensions. He has been under routine surveillance since his initial surgery a year and a half ago, during which a tiny spot was noted in his monitoring follow-ups.
I had a minor medical issue with my prostate that was completely treated. Thank God, it's behind me, Netanyahu remarked, adding that he prefers to address health concerns promptly as a principle applicable both nationally and personally.
As he prepares for an upcoming visit to the White House and amid negotiations for peace related to the conflict with Iran, Netanyahu’s health update comes at a significant time in Israel’s political landscape. His reassurances are meant to quell any concerns while he continues to navigate the complex geopolitical situation.
