PROVIDENCE, R.I. — The Brown University community is grappling with shock and sorrow following a tragic shooting that resulted in the death of two students and left nine others injured. Authorities are urging anyone with video footage of the suspect to come forward.
In an effort to identify the gunman, police have released a new timeline and improved images of a possible suspect, whose identity remains elusive. Currently, the suspect is described as stocky and standing approximately 5 feet, 8 inches tall.
In the wake of the shooting, officers have been canvassing the Providence area in search of any leads. Surveillance footage shared by the FBI shows a figure in dark clothing walking the streets near Brown University just after the incident.
