Best-selling author Colleen Hoover has revealed she has been undergoing treatment following her recent cancer diagnosis. The 46-year-old writer, famous for titles such as 'It Ends With Us' and 'Reminders of Him', announced her nearly completed radiotherapy and a successful surgery in a candid Instagram post.

In her update, Hoover stated, 'I'm doing much better. My cancer diagnosis was a while ago but I chose to keep it private until after finding out my surgery was successful and what my other treatments would be.' Previously, she had shared the news privately with her fans through a Facebook chat.

The author, who encountered recurring health issues throughout 2025, explained how her concerns were sidelined while filming the adaptation of her book, 'Reminders of Him'. Upon returning home, she received her cancer diagnosis, describing the experience as initially 'huge and scary'.

Hoover has not specified the type of cancer she has but mentioned potential links to environmental and lifestyle factors. Sharing her light-hearted approach, she humorously remarked about disliking vegetables and the need for lifestyle changes.

Expressing gratitude towards her medical team at Texas Oncology, Hoover conveyed her intention to remain transparent with her fans about her health journey. Coincidentally, her latest novel, 'Woman Down', was released during her treatment period, which she clarified was not a promotional tactic for sympathy.

Despite the challenges, Hoover continues to engage with her fans, showcasing her tenacity and humor while promoting her new book release. This resilient attitude has resonated with many, reaffirming her status as a beloved figure in the literary world.
