A massive blaze erupted at a Bangkok bar near midnight, killing at least 27 patrons and igniting chaos among survivors.
First‑hand footage shows frantic crowds fleeing through a flaming front door that burst into intense flames. As firefighters descended, witnesses described a scene of smoke and ropes pulled from the walls.
Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul spoke to reporters at the scene, confirming the death toll and noting that several injured people were transported to hospitals. He emphasised that the cause of the fire has yet to be established.
Updates continue as investigators seek to understand how the fire ignited.
