Cierra's parents spoke out, stating that she had became the target of a hate campaign online and emphasizing the need for compassion. They have been managing her social media during her time in the villa and revealed that both she and her family had received multiple threats and "cruel messages." Describing the unfolding events as "one of the most painful weeks of our lives," they condemned the extreme backlash, asserting that "no one deserves that kind of hate, no matter what mistakes they've made."
