According to reports from the Hamas-run health ministry, approximately 250 people have lost their lives due to Israeli bombardments since the operation commenced.

The conflict stems from Hamas's cross-border attack on October 7, 2023, which resulted in around 1,200 casualties and left 251 people abducted.
