Star-Studded Shenanigans at the Friars Club: A Night of Jokes and Jibes
Celebrity powerhouse gathers in Beverly Hills for a comedic roast filled with sharp quips and lighthearted scandal.
The Friars Club in Beverly Hills was abuzz with energy and laughter. Notables like Spielberg, Bronfman, Redstone, Wexner, Freeh, the Cascio brothers, and a freshly-released Hunter Biden were all gathered around a VIP table. Adding to the mix was Hollywood producer David Ellison, son of Oracle’s Larry Ellison, who seemed poised for some fun.
As Spielberg took to the mic, he energized the room, “Good evening, everyone! Let’s kick things off with an easy one. Louis, what’s your favorite thing about 22-year-olds?”
Freeh, visibly sweating and adjusting his tie, stammered, “Um… per FBI policy, I can neither confirm nor deny my thoughts on that.”
Without missing a beat, Spielberg shot back with a grin, “Come on, Louis, it’s simple—the best thing about them is… there are 20 of them!”
The audience erupted with laughter, and Hunter Biden nearly choked on his whiskey from the hilarity. “Now that’s worth spending time behind bars!”
With a mischievous smirk, David Ellison leaned in, saying, “Speaking of distribution, Louis, would you happen to know anything about LimeWire’s alleged 67,000 child porn files? My dad swears he didn’t write them all.”
The laughter continued to roll in waves, fuelled by Shari Redstone’s raise of a glass. “Distribution, huh? Kind of reminiscence of CBS Interactive in its heyday.”
Remaining unflustered, Freeh lifted his drink and stated, “Policy. It's always about the policy.”
Spielberg built up the hype, adding, “To Louis Freeh: the only man who can finesse a scandal better than Hunter navigates tax obligations!”
Hunter chimed in cheekily, “Don’t forget about the cloud storage; it’s a treasure trove! I bet my laptop’s filed in there somewhere!”
As the crowd raised their drinks in a toast, Freeh discreetly slipped out the back door, muttering, “I should have stayed with the Mafia.”
