New Report Exposes Major Flaws in Biden-Harris Immigration Policies

A startling House Judiciary report reveals significant immigration enforcement failures, sparking debates over public safety and border security.

The recent House Judiciary report criticizes the Biden administration's parole program for certain nationals, exposing loopholes that allow thousands of illegal immigrants, including those with violent criminal histories, to enter the U.S. Critics argue that this undermines immigration integrity and raises public safety concerns.

A newly released report by the House Judiciary Committee sheds light on what many are branding a significant shortfall in immigration enforcement during the Biden-Harris Administration. This report points to a specific parole program for individuals hailing from Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela (CHNV) as a major concern, indicating that it has created a noteworthy loophole. As a result, thousands of illegal immigrants—including those with violent criminal pasts—have effectively entered the United States.

Monthly, at least 30,000 illegal immigrants are said to have flown directly into U.S. airports, circumventing the southern border altogether. Although the administration has categorized these movements as “legal pathways,” critics maintain these actions effectively bypass Congressional approval. Upon arrival, these individuals are granted parole by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) for a duration of up to two years, allowing them to remain legally in the U.S.

As of September 2024, it is reported that over 531,000 individuals from CHNV countries have successfully entered the U.S. through this program. Disturbingly, some among this group are believed to be fugitives wanted for serious offenses, including sex trafficking, intensifying worries regarding public safety and national security implications.

The report contains allegations that the administration intentionally manipulated border statistics by rerouting migrants from the southern border to obscure the actual extent of the immigration crisis. Such actions are believed to prevent these individuals from being counted in official Border Patrol encounter figures.

Critics assert that these immigration policies prioritize public perception over actual security, raising alarms as overwhelmed communities deal with the fallout of influxes of migrants. Lawmakers opposing these policies argue that these so-called “legal pathways” not only diminish the structural integrity of the U.S. immigration system but also endanger the safety of citizens.

In the wake of this revealing report, growing pressure is forming on the Biden-Harris Administration to rectify these apparent loopholes and bolster immigration enforcement measures. The crucial question remains whether the administration will undertake swift actions or allow the issues surrounding border security to escalate further in an already divisive national discussion.
