Convicted triple-murderer Erin Patterson, who recently faced justice in a disturbing mushroom poisoning case, is now under scrutiny for alleged attempts to kill her estranged husband, Simon Patterson. During court proceedings, it was disclosed that Patterson, 50, attempted to poison her husband with numerous meals, including cookies she falsely claimed their daughter had baked, prior to her conviction.

Patterson was found guilty of the tragic deaths of three family members following a lunch featuring toxic mushroom-laced beef Wellington on July 29, 2023. Her estranged husband initially faced potential charges, but these were dropped just before her trial commenced.
