High-End Real Estate Brothers Face Serious Charges of Sex Trafficking
The Alexander brothers are embroiled in a disturbing case involving drugging and assaulting numerous women over a decade.
In a shocking development, three well-known luxury property brokers—the Alexander brothers—are facing serious legal repercussions as they have been charged with sex trafficking in the United States. The brothers, Tal and Oren Alexander, and their sibling Alon, allegedly drugged, assaulted, and raped numerous women over a period spanning more than a decade.
Prosecutors claim that the Alexanders, who are prominent in the high-end real estate market of New York and Miami, exploited their wealth and status to prey on vulnerable women. They were apprehended in Florida on Wednesday and are set to be extradited to New York, where they’ll respond to these grave charges.
Oren Alexander’s attorney firmly maintains his client’s innocence, while Tal Alexander's representative has chosen not to comment. Alon Alexander’s legal representation has yet to issue a statement.
According to US Attorney for the Southern District of New York, Damian Williams, the investigation has involved testimonies from multiple women alleging forced sexual assaults by at least one of the Alexander brothers. "This conduct, as alleged, was heinous," Williams emphasized during a press conference in Manhattan.
The indictment details a disturbing scheme where women were invited to lavish parties under the guise of luxury experiences and travel. Prosecutors allege that the brothers would sometimes drug these women "surreptitiously" or physically restrain them during the assaults, blatantly ignoring their cries for help. Former victims reported receiving extravagant gifts and concert tickets shortly after the incidents, presumably to silence them.
The brothers are being charged with engaging in a conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion. Notably, Tal Alexander faces an additional count for his alleged actions.
Oren’s lawyer insists that the evidence will demonstrate that neither he nor his brothers are guilty of any crimes. In contrast, one attorney representing the women expressed relief at the indictments, stating, "We are glad to hear that there will finally be some measure of accountability for the Alexander brothers and justice for their many victims."
The Alexanders are affiliated with the prominent real estate firm Douglas Elliman, having dealt with high-profile clients including celebrities such as Liam Gallagher, Kim Kardashian, and Kanye West. In 2022, the brothers founded a new company named Official.
