Diddy Faces New Lawsuit for Alleged Balcony Incident
Sean "Diddy" Combs is embroiled in another legal dispute, with serious allegations emerging from a 2016 incident involving a fashion designer.
Sean “Diddy” Combs finds himself in legal hot water once again, as a new lawsuit has emerged accusing the music mogul of a disturbing incident involving a fashion designer. The lawsuit, filed in Los Angeles by Bryana "Bana" Bongolan, claims that during an altercation in 2016 at the home of Diddy's then-girlfriend, Casandra "Cassie" Ventura, he dangled her from a 17th-floor balcony.
Bongolan's grievance is the latest addition to a staggering tally of over two dozen lawsuits that have targeted Diddy, alleging various offenses, including sexual assault, intimidation, and even drugging victims. Compounding his legal troubles, Combs is also facing federal charges related to a sex trafficking operation. In spite of the serious nature of these allegations, he has steadfastly denied wrongdoing and remains confident that the truth will emerge in court.
According to documents from the lawsuit, Bongolan alleges that the incident began when Combs stormed into Ventura's apartment, yelling and banging on the door. When he confronted her while she was on the balcony, he allegedly grabbed and molested her before lifting her over the edge of the balcony. The lawsuit describes her frantic struggle to escape his grip, claiming that Combs easily overpowered her.
The lawsuit also details that Ventura intervened, only to have Combs reportedly slam Bongolan onto the patio furniture upon pulling her back inside. A representative for Combs dismissed the allegations as baseless, asserting that anyone can file a lawsuit regardless of evidence.
Ms. Bongolan indicates that she remains unclear about what triggered the altercation but is seeking $10 million in damages, citing a pattern of threats and intimidation throughout her acquaintance with Combs. The allegations also resonate with a previous lawsuit filed by Ventura, which similarly depicted Diddy's abusive behavior.
Currently, Diddy is detained at Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center after being denied bail multiple times, as his legal saga continues to capture public attention.
