Carlos Alcaraz has declared he is 'here to entertain' after an impressive victory over Jiri Lehecka, booking his place in the US Open semi-finals. The 22-year-old Spaniard won in under two hours with a score of 6-4, 6-2, 6-4 at Arthur Ashe Stadium, showcasing exceptional skill and focus throughout the match.

Alcaraz quickly established control by breaking Lehecka in the opening game and maintained a relentless pace that kept the world number 21 on the back foot. Known for his flair, Alcaraz delighted the audience with various thrilling shot-making displays, highlighting his enjoyment of the game.

I'm here to entertain the people, myself, and the team, Alcaraz told Sky Sports, reaffirming his philosophy on court. He affirmed, I play solid and smart, but if there's an opportunity for a spectacular shot, I'm going to take it!

Alcaraz's upcoming challenge will be either fourth seed Taylor Fritz or 24-time Grand Slam champion Novak Djokovic, as he approaches the ultimate goal of a second US Open title.
