Hamas Dismisses Israeli Ceasefire Terms, Stalemate Continues in Gaza Conflict

As conditions in Gaza worsen amid ongoing airstrikes, peace negotiations remain at an impasse following Hamas's rejection of Israel's ceasefire conditions.

Hamas has firmly rejected an Israeli proposal for a six-week ceasefire in Gaza, insisting that the terms were unacceptable, particularly the condition requiring the disarmament of the armed group. A senior Palestinian official revealed that the plan lacked the essential commitments from Israel to end military operations or to withdraw its forces, which are key demands from Hamas in exchange for releasing a considerable number of hostages it currently holds.

As the conflict intensifies, Israel continues its military actions within Gaza, resulting in casualties, including a security guard's death and injuries to others due to airstrikes on a field hospital.
